Job Summary:
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) is seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Architect to lead the design, development, and integration of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP BTP, ABAP cloud development, UI5, Fiori, and cloud-native development principles. This role requires hands-on experience in SAP BTP application development, clean core methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of SAP BTP solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in ABAP development and UI5 within SAP BTP.
- Design and implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Ensure clean core methodology is followed for SAP BTP implementations.
- Develop and maintain the architecture blueprint for SAP BTP, including cloud infrastructure, integration, and security.
- Design and develop custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Architect and implement ABAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with SAP BTP services and components.
- Develop and deploy SAP BTP and S/4HANA applications using low-code/no-code tools.
- Ensure security, compliance, and optimal performance of SAP BTP environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP BTP implementations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development within a cloud environment.
- Extensive experience in SAP BTP application development, UI5, and Fiori.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori Tools development and SAP BTP UI services.
- Experience with SAP Build Process Automation and Workflow.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native development principles.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP integration suite, HANA databases, and middleware solutions.
