This position leads multiple retail locations within a defined district, focusing on maximizing sales, profitability, and operational effectiveness. The role is responsible for building high-performing teams, executing strategic plans, and ensuring consistent delivery of an exceptional in-store guest experience. Emphasis is placed on leadership, accountability, training, and aligning with corporate values and standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Regional Sales Manager:
- Foster collaboration with store teams to influence key performance indicators by shaping sales strategies, operational plans, and customer service initiatives.
- Establish well-defined targets for Store Managers and guarantee answerability through frequent performance appraisals and evaluations.
- Generate and implement weekly and monthly plans of action that coincide with the company’s priorities and maximize productivity.
- Stay well-informed about industry developments, corporate policies, and technological advancements that influence district operations.
- Reinforce efforts to prevent losses and ensure active participation in programs aimed at reducing shrinkage.
- Ensure to conduct frequent store visits to assess operations and provide a positive guest experience example.
- Stimulate cooperation between on-ground teams and headquarters departments, including Buying, Allocation, and Marketing.
- Promote a cohesive communication approach that is uniform across different levels of field and corporate management.
