Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

Join our Supply Chain team at Staples as a Delivery Driver, where you'll play a vital role in safely transporting and delivering office supplies to our customers. You'll be an essential part of our commitment to providing outstanding service and fostering a culture of safety.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely transport products and deliver office supplies on assigned routes to customers.
• Load products onto your truck efficiently, following the manifest to ensure the most effective delivery route and schedule.
• Provide excellent customer support, accept product returns, and address customer inquiries or concerns.
• Utilize technology, including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery (POD) devices, to navigate and complete deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle, perform pre-trip vehicle inspections, and report any maintenance concerns.
• Foster collaboration with colleagues and customers to resolve issues and build strong relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift and lift heavy items.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of truck driving experience or comparable driving experience.
• Experience in high-volume package delivery.
