Job Summary of District Manager:

This position leads multiple retail locations within a defined district, focusing on maximizing sales, profitability, and operational effectiveness. The role is responsible for building high-performing teams, executing strategic plans, and ensuring consistent delivery of an exceptional in-store guest experience. Emphasis is placed on leadership, accountability, training, and aligning with corporate values and standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of District Manager:

• Drive key performance indicators by partnering with store teams on sales strategies, operational plans, and customer service initiatives.
• Set clear goals for Store Managers and ensure accountability through regular performance evaluations and feedback.
• Develop and implement weekly and monthly action plans to align with business priorities and maximize results.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends, company policies, and technology affecting district operations.
• Support loss prevention efforts and ensure shrink reduction programs are actively followed.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations and model positive guest experiences.
• Foster collaboration between field teams and Home Office departments, including Buying, Allocation, and Marketing.
• Communicate clearly and consistently across all levels of field and corporate management.

Qualifications and Experience of District Manager:

• Extensive multi-unit retail management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Proven success in building, developing, and managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to prioritize, delegate, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, financial metrics, and merchandising strategies.
