Job Summary of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver:
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the products being delivered.
- Develop positive relationships with customers and become familiar with their operations to meet their needs and expectations consistently.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation.
- Assist with loading and unloading products as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the delivery process.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including invoices, delivery receipts, and logs.
Qualifications and Experience of CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver:
- Recent driving school graduates are welcome to apply.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid CDL Permit.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 40-60 pounds, with occasional items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Flexibility to work overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to attend CDL-A training class, including time away from home.
