Job Summary of Counter Service:
This role involves sourcing parts for fleet customers, assisting team members, and ensuring outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Counter Service:
- Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers.
- Assist team members and answer customer inquiries regarding parts.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and collaborate with management and technicians.
- Ensure accurate parts research and availability information.
- Maintain a customer-focused and high-energy approach.
Qualifications and Experience of Counter Service:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening skills and customer empathy.
- Ability to work in a shop environment, including airport facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
- Experience in airport ground support equipment.
- Knowledge of cataloging, sourcing, or inventory management systems.
- ASE certifications.
