Job Summary of Warehouse Maintenance Specialist:

You will be responsible for preventative and spontaneous maintenance on various equipment such as conveyors, motors, material handling equipment, and more. This role includes building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and ensuring safe and efficient operations within Staples’ supply chain.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Maintenance Specialist:

• Perform preventative and spontaneous maintenance on equipment like conveyors, motors, hand tools, and power tools.
• Maintain and repair various building structures, including overhead doors, roll carts, floor repair, and gates.
• Perform light plumbing maintenance and carpentry assignments as required.
• Ensure safe work practices and embrace the safety culture within the supply chain team.
• Operate power material handling equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, once MHE certified.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Maintenance Specialist:

• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and the ability to read blueprints / schematics.
• Ability to follow vendor manuals and procedures for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written).

Salary:

Competitive Pay: $26.00 / hour - $32.00 / hour, Based on Experience.
