Order Picker
Job Summary of Order Picker:
Conduct shipping and receiving activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. Organize inventory efficiently, contribute to warehouse operations, and adhere to safety protocols.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Order Picker:
- Identify, double-check, and deliver goods according to sales order parameters.
- Get shipments ready for transportation, ensuring that items are securely packaged to avoid any potential damage.
- Handle the logistics of returning customer items to their specified locations for shipping.
- Arrange and maintain stock using standard inventory management methods.
- Inform the warehouse supervisor of any inventory that does not meet the required standards or is in a damaged condition.
- Strive to uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Deliver packages to customers and ensure confirmation through signatures.
- Fulfill requirements for processing counter sales or customer invoices as necessary.
- Execute responsibilities that involve the operation of a forklift or equivalent equipment as necessary.
- Keep customers informed about availability by updating the system with incoming inventory.
- Assume other duties as designated.
Qualifications and Experience of Order Picker:
- Securing a high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Primary math understanding, reading comprehension, and digital skills.
- Skilled in lifting weights of up to 50 pounds and moving loads of up to 100 pounds.
- Obtaining certification for operating a forklift may be necessary.
- The requirements include holding a valid driver’s license and having a solid driving background.
Salary:
The hourly salary is set between $18.00 and $19.50
