Job Summary of Retail Team Lead:
This position is critical in maintaining the store’s daily operations through offering support, guidance, and leadership to employees while upholding high standards of service and merchandising. It plays a vital role in developing talent, guaranteeing customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a swift retail environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Team Lead:
- Promote the growth, mentorship, and loyalty of team members by actively leading and engaging with them.
- Encourage team members to familiarize themselves with store credit and loyalty programs for an improved customer experience.
- Uphold merchandising norms within the store and supervise inventory logistics for continuity.
- Leverage business reports to assess store performance and pinpoint opportunities for improvement within the operation.
- Integrate company software, systems, and standard protocols competently to accomplish operational objectives.
- Motivate the team to succeed by consistently coaching them, recognizing their efforts, and maintaining clear communication.
- Develop a collaborative and favorable team ambiance that bolsters guest approval and staff motivation.
- Undertake any other assignments as allotted.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Team Lead:
- Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or a similar credential to meet the eligibility criteria.
- Candidates with 1-2 years of prior supervisory experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Displaying strong communication competencies and interpersonal aptitude.
- Showing adeptness in working alone and in harmony with others in a team atmosphere.
- Skilled at resolving challenges and structuring workflow proficiently.
- Practical experience in utilizing Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office tools, and scheduling software for efficient task management.
- Openness to working at different hours, including mid-shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical capabilities are essential in performing core job responsibilities, with or without accommodations.
- Need to demonstrate the ability to manage a load of at least 20 pounds through lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
- It is necessary to have the capability for complete body mobility, incorporating bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
- Having a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is a must.
