Job Summary of CDL A Logistics Driver:
Drivers will establish positive relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met on an assigned route schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of CDL A Logistics Driver:
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely in order to complete deliveries to customer addresses.
- Perform the manual unloading and conveyance of a diverse array of goods, encompassing meat, produce, frozen provisions, groceries, and dry merchandise.
- Establish and uphold favorable relationships with clients through friendly engagements.
- Get to know customer processes to better cater to their needs and meet their expectations.
- Follow the designated route timetables and meet the delivery timeframes.
- Ensure a pristine record behind the wheel and follow all traffic laws and ordinances.
- Inspect vehicles for safety measures before and after each trip.
Qualifications and Experience of CDL A Logistics Driver:
- This opportunity is only available to those who are 21 years of age and above.
- Observe the protocols for pre-employment background verification and drug testing.
- Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) in conjunction with a driving record that is clear.
- Competency in English language communication.
- Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
- Flexibility in scheduling to meet the requirements of overtime work, weekend shifts, and holiday coverage.
- 12 months of practical experience in customer delivery.
- Experienced in operating hand carts and hand trucks for a period of six months.
- Working in Food and Beverage for a period of six months.
- Holding a history of employment continuity spanning two years.
