Job Summary of Delivery Route Driver:

Drivers will establish positive relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met on an assigned route schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Delivery Route Driver:

• Drive a tractor-trailer safely in order to complete deliveries to customer addresses.
• Be responsible for unloading and delivering different types of goods manually, which can include meat, fruits, frozen items, groceries, and non-perishables.
• Develop and preserve positive relationships with clients through amicable interactions.
• Learn about customer functions to tailor services to their requirements and exceed their expectations.
• Maintain adherence to the allocated route schedules and meet the delivery deadlines promptly.
• Maintain a pristine driving history and comply with all traffic laws and rules.
• Carry out vehicle assessments before departure and after arrival.

Qualifications and Experience of Delivery Route Driver:

• Participation is restricted to those who have reached the age of 21.
• Comply with the pre-employment background check and drug screening standards.
• Possess a clean driving record combined with a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) that is valid.
• Fluency in expressing oneself in English.
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Preparedness to extend work hours to include weekends, holidays, and overtime if the situation calls for it.
• Experience in customer delivery spanning one year.
• Demonstrated competency in hand cart and hand truck handling over a six-month timeframe.
• Working in Food and Beverage for a period of six months.
• Having a background of sustained employment over a two-year period.
