Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, or other contacts from members to facilitate the Property & Casualty member experience.
- Assist members with quotes, binding new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract, and coverage provisions for insurance products and services.
- Identify and understand member needs to provide complete and accurate advice and solutions while minimizing member transfers and escalations.
- Efficiently navigate multiple systems and programs in a contact center environment to maintain engaging member interactions.
- Maintain required Property & Casualty license and state registrations.
- Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service for members through phone and email communication.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task while navigating through multiple business applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Acquire Property & Casualty licenses and state registrations within 90 days of hire, depending on location.
- 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment.
- 6 months experience frequently communicating with customers by phone, email, and/or face to face.
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
