Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

The Toro Company is seeking an responsible for all aspects of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient production operations. The primary goal is to maintain equipment functionality while adhering to safety, production, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine equipment inspections while keeping accurate records.
• Inspect equipment, document findings, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Communicate with technicians and engineers regarding equipment status and new tools.
• Identify and report equipment discrepancies during inspections.
• Maintain inventory records and update equipment history logs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and perform necessary repairs.
• Replace defective parts and execute preventive maintenance tasks as needed.
• Provide emergency repairs on production equipment, including nights and weekends if required.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Follow equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Comply with The Toro Company and OSHA safety regulations.
• Document repair processes and maintain visual records through pictures.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and maintenance through routine tasks.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance, including filter replacements and inspections.
• Utilize hand tools and basic power tools for equipment repairs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Industrial maintenance experience, including plastic processing equipment, preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors.
• Familiarity with basic PC functions, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain logs, checklists, and inspection records.
• Ability to prioritize safety, escalate issues, and work proactively.
• Strong teamwork and independent problem-solving skills.

Salary:

• Starting pay: $22+ per hour, based on experience.
