Job Summary of Truck Driver - Delivery Services:
Drivers will establish positive relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met on an assigned route schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Truck Driver - Delivery Services:
- Safely navigate a tractor-trailer to bring goods to client destinations.
- Execute the physical unloading and transportation of a mix of products, such as meats, fresh produce, frozen foods, groceries, and dry goods.
- Develop and preserve positive relationships with clients through amicable interactions.
- Familiarize yourself with client activities to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Comply with the assigned route plans and honor the delivery deadlines.
- Ensure a pristine record behind the wheel and follow all traffic laws and ordinances.
- Conduct thorough examinations of vehicles before and after trips.
Qualifications and Experience of Truck Driver - Delivery Services:
- Participation is restricted to those who have reached the age of 21.
- Demonstrate a clean record and negative drug test results during pre-employment screening.
- Hold a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) that is valid alongside a driving record that is free from blemishes.
- Strong English language communication proficiency.
- Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
- One year of customer delivery service proficiency.
- Applied knowledge and expertise in hand cart and hand truck duties for six months.
- Half a year’s worth of experience in Food and Beverage services.
- Exhibiting a two-year history of unbroken work experience.
