Job Summary of Shift Leader:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the store’s daily operations by providing guidance, direction, and leadership to employees to ensure exceptional service and merchandising standards. It is essential for talent development, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a rapid retail setting.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Shift Leader:

• Foster the progress, guidance, and job retention of team members through dedicated leadership and interaction.
• Foster a culture of understanding and promotion of store credit and loyalty programs among team members to enhance the customer journey.
• Enforce store display standards and oversee inventory flow and operational protocols to sustain conformity.
• Use business reports as a tool to assess the performance of the store and to uncover opportunities for enhancement.
• Implement company software, systems, and standard protocols successfully to reach operational goals.
• Inspire the team to attain success through continual coaching, acknowledgment, and open communication.
• Establish a collaborative and upbeat team environment focused on enhancing guest satisfaction and staff engagement.
• Accomplish extra tasks as mandated.

Qualifications and Experience of Shift Leader:

• Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or a similar qualification to be eligible for this position.
• Having 1-2 years of supervisory experience is seen as an asset for this position.
• Displaying strong abilities in connecting with others and expressing ideas effectively.
• Proficiency in independent work and teamwork in a professional setting.
• Capable of effectively resolving issues and managing tasks systematically.
• Well-versed in the utilization of Zebra PDA devices, POS systems, Microsoft Office tools, and scheduling platforms through practical implementation.
• Readiness to work flexible hours, which may involve mid-shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical capabilities are necessary for the execution of essential job tasks, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport objects weighing at least 20 pounds is a required skill.
• The position necessitates full body flexibility, allowing for movements like bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
• Essential qualifications include a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
