Job Summary of Warehouse Worker:
Undertake shipping and receiving tasks to achieve timely and precise order completion. Systematically manage inventory, support warehouse tasks, and maintain safety measures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Worker:
- Hand-select, verify, and ship items as per sales order specifications.
- Organize items for delivery, ensuring that they are packaged securely to prevent damage while in transit.
- Arrange for the delivery of customer returns to designated locations.
- Utilize approved inventory organization techniques to categorize and store materials.
- Notify the warehouse supervisor if any inventory is found to be substandard or damaged.
- Promote a culture of cleanliness, orderliness, and workplace safety.
- Conduct deliveries to customers and obtain signature confirmation for each transaction.
- Conduct transactions for counter sales or customer invoices as needed.
- Engage in the operation of a forklift or similar machinery when called for.
- Incorporate new inventory data into the system to reflect product availability for customers.
- Engage in tasks beyond regular responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Worker:
- Achieving the educational milestone of a high school diploma or GED.
- Core math knowledge, reading skills, and computer proficiency.
- Possessing the capability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
- Having forklift certification could be a stipulation.
- In order to be considered, applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a commendable driving record.
Salary:
The payment per hour is anywhere from $18.00 to $19.50
