Job Summary of CDL A Route Specialist:
Drivers will establish positive relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met on an assigned route schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of CDL A Route Specialist:
- Skillfully handle a semi-truck to transport products to customer locations securely.
- Carry out the manual unloading and delivery of various goods, from meats and produce to frozen items, groceries, and dry products.
- Cultivate and uphold positive relations with clients through friendly conversations.
- Familiarize yourself with client systems to deliver services that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
- Comply with the designated route schedules and meet the delivery deadlines efficiently.
- Preserve a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and ordinances.
- Check vehicles for any issues before setting off and upon reaching the destination.
Qualifications and Experience of CDL A Route Specialist:
- To be eligible, individuals must be 21 years old or above.
- Satisfactorily pass both a background investigation and drug screening before starting a new job.
- Have a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and maintain a clear driving record.
- Mastery of the English language for effective interaction.
- Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing 40-60 pounds, and up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
- Openness to adjusting work hours to cover overtime, weekends, and holiday periods as needed.
- One year of hands-on involvement in customer delivery.
- Demonstrated competency in hand cart and hand truck handling over a six-month timeframe.
- A span of six months dedicated to Food and Beverage roles.
- Documenting a consecutive two-year work record.
