Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document First Notice of Loss and gather relevant information for effective claim investigation.
- Create loss reports, verify coverage, and initiate damage assessment processes.
- Assist members with questions about the claims process, set expectations, and provide proactive communications and advice.
- Resolve status inquiries and route cases to handling adjusters when necessary.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced contact center environment, handling back-to-back calls and navigating multiple systems while maintaining engaging member interactions.
- Embrace continuous improvement through coaching and collaboration with team members.
- Support workload surges and catastrophe response operations as needed, including potential weekend or holiday work.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong customer service skills with active listening, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask while using various business applications.
- Successful completion of a job-related assessment may be required.
- May require acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days (USAA provides materials and licensing fees).

The hiring range for this position is $43,750 to $45,750.
