Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Assistant:

• Take precautions to safeguard products and reduce the likelihood of damage during loading, receiving, storing, organizing, selecting, and packing operations.
• Evaluate the cleanliness and quality of trailers and goods by conducting thorough checks.
• Ensure precise recording of product quantities.
• Reach out to Food Safety experts for guidance on product-related matters.
• Proficiently and safely handle materials using appropriate machinery.
• Foster a culture of cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.
• Engage in teamwork with supervisors and team members to attain operational accomplishments.
• Verify compliance with safety standards and corporate policies defined by Sysco.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Assistant:

• Satisfying the educational prerequisites for high school completion or an equivalent.
• While previous warehouse experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory prerequisite for the job.
• Competence in operating material transport equipment.
• Demonstrating careful attention to particulars and adept organizational abilities.
• Skilled in effective team communication and collaboration.
• Being adept at working in a fast-paced environment and being flexible in embracing changing priorities.
