Job Summary of Order Picker:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Order Picker:

• Employ careful methods when dealing with items to reduce the potential for harm during loading, receiving, storing, arranging, selecting, and packaging.
• Evaluate the cleanliness and quality of trailers and goods by conducting thorough checks.
• Document product quantities with accuracy.
• Reach out to Food Safety experts for guidance on product-related matters.
• Ensure the secure and efficient operation of material handling equipment.
• Preserve a well-kempt and systematic warehouse area.
• Join forces with supervisors and team members to fulfill operational missions efficiently.
• Secure adherence to safety rules and corporate policies stipulated by Sysco.

Qualifications and Experience of Order Picker:

• Completion of high school requirements or a comparable credential.
• Although it is beneficial to have familiarity with warehouse operations, it is not an essential prerequisite for the position.
• Competence in the operation of material moving machinery.
• Exemplifying a sharp eye for detail and adept organizational skills.
• Proficiency in team collaboration and communication effectiveness.
• Being skilled at working in a high-tempo environment and being able to accommodate evolving priorities.

Salary:

Initial salary: $21.72 hourly rate
