- Conduct the operation of a tractor-trailer with utmost safety to transport goods to designated customer destinations.
- Carry out the task of offloading and transporting an assortment of items, which encompasses items such as meat, vegetables, frozen food, household essentials, and non-perishable goods.
- Encourage positive connections with clients by engaging in friendly exchanges and communication.
- To satisfy the demands and desires of customers, one must develop an understanding of their operations and processes.
- Ensure that you follow the designated route schedules and deliver within the given time frame.
- Keeping a spotless driving history and adhering to all traffic rules and regulations is crucial.
- Before and after every journey, it is essential to conduct thorough evaluations of the vehicle to ensure that it is safe to operate on the road.
Qualifications and Experience of CDL A Delivery Driver:
- The minimum age requirement is 21 years or above.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening.
- Possess a valid CDL of Class A with an unblemished driving history.
- Adeptness in the art of communicating effectively in English.
- The Capacity to Regularly Maneuver Products Weighing 40-60 Pounds, and Occasionally up to 100 Pounds.
- The ability to work beyond normal hours of operation including weekends and holidays is necessary.
- One year worth of experience delivering top-notch customer service.
- Experience in operating hand carts/hand trucks for a duration of 6 months.
- Working in the Food and Beverage industry for half a year.
- A track record of steady employment for 24 months.
